Usu (original character)

Description: Usu is one of my oldest characters. I’ve had him since I was eleven but only recently has he gotten a proper backstory and a nice finalized design. He originally started out as a «How to train your dragon» character and looked wildly different (see bellow). But when I was around sixteen I got into dungeons and dragons (DND) and my friends and I decided to make a DND campaign (that has not been started yet). With this new motivation I needed to make a character, so I repurposed Usu. I based him on a leopard gecko, gave him a story as a traveling cook, and later on added his now iconic frills, a recall of Jurassic Park’s depiction of a dilophosaurus. He’s very near and dear to me and I couldn’t possibly make a portfolio to showcase my artistic growth without my oldest imaginary friend to back me up.
