Description: The Red Tiger was an exercise in color theory, I wanted to see if I could pull off making a semi realistic drawing without color dropping the photo reference. A lot of time spent on this piece was actually used testing different colors, some times even on top of the reference. It helped me a lot and was great for me to understand, not only color, but shapes, texture and lighting.
